I enjoy abstract photography! In the past my efforts have been for the most part opportunistic or accidental, and my favourites concentrated around water ... the beach or river using light as the primary inspiration. It seems I didn't think of that until the last few days when I no longer had the time to do anything about it. I did get Saxon (gsd dog) out to the beach multiple times this past fortnight and at a suitable times with camera, but like I said, did not have my abstract hat on. Regardless this first shot was from one of those beach trips :)
The 2nd and 3rd images comes straight from a concerted effort to capture abstract ... seriously what is it about trying to capture an image and not being able to, but when you aren't even thinking about it, you get it? I'm realising quickly here, that I'm really not that much chop at taking photos for a specific purpose ... anyway ...
again, hope you enjoy!
I think you did brilliantly! I love the first one and wouldn't have had a clue that it was water if you hadn't said so; it looks like some kind of fabric weave. The depth of colour and the texture in the second one is great and I also love the third one. :-)
ReplyDeleteOoooh, love that first one! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteFirst 1 is fantastic. I would have guessed a fabric as well as there seems to be a real texture to it. I even wondered if it was an extreme close up of your dog' coat as I could sort of see a hair look to it.
ReplyDeleteI really loved the first & last ones:)
ReplyDeleteThat beach scene is way cool!
ReplyDeleteI think you captures the theme so well, these are all great examples of texture and I have no clue what they are! (Except the first one since you told us :) )
ReplyDeleteI'm intrigued by the last one, it's very interesting :) Love the first one too - beautiful!
